Overview
The AFC East is one of the four divisions in the American Football Conference (AFC) of the National Football League (NFL). It is currently composed of four teams: the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, and New York Jets. The division was created in 1960 as the AFL East and became the AFC East after the AFL–NFL merger in 1970.
