However, it's important to note that liquor sales remain prohibited on this national holiday.
For those looking to make a quick run for beer or wine, you'll be able to do so during normal business hours. While most retail and grocery stores will be open for regular hours, Costco will be closed on July 4th, so plan accordingly.
If you're in the mood for coffee and a treat, Panera Bread and Starbucks will have limited hours on July 4th. However, if you're in need of a stronger drink, Virginia ABC Stores will be open until 6 pm on the holiday.
Please remember that it is illegal to sell or purchase alcoholic beverages on Sundays and New Year's Day in Texas, so please plan your purchases accordingly.
